Kroger Free Friday Downloads

The following is my honest opinion. I am a bzzagent, which means I get products and services for FREE and then I share my opinions with you! This time I participated in Kroger's Free Friday Downloads!




Kroger's Free Friday Downloads means that all Kroger stores have a single FREE item every Friday! You just go the the link above, select your store, and load the coupon into your stores membership card! Then go pick up the item (make sure to swipe your membership card so that it is free)! It's that simple.

Well.... there are a few things that you should be aware of! First of all there are no big items, the items are usually just a few bucks. Like Toothpaste that would normally cost $1.00 or a small bag of Cheetos that would cost $2.00. Another little catch is that if you don't get them on Friday, their gone! I wish they would give us a day or so of leverage in case we can't make it on Friday. However, I do understand that they are here to make money.

All in all this is a really good service! There are a few things they could change out of kind courtesy, but it's a great little campaign that their running anyway!

Revelation Road (Chapter 1)

This is a new series that I'm going to start.... We are going to go through Revelation together. This post will only be the first chapter. I will post a passage of revelation and when you see the words in blue, that is me commenting on the passage.

Here we go...

1 This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John, 2 who faithfully reported everything he saw. This is his report of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

So God sent an angel to tell this to John. John DIDN'T make this up! That is important! Then John FAITHFULLY reported EVERYTHING he saw!

3 God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and he blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.

So the time for this prophecy to be fulfilled is coming, and it is very close

4 This letter is from John to the seven churches in the province of Asia.

Grace and peace to you from the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come; from the sevenfold Spirit before his throne; 5 and from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness to these things, the first to rise from the dead, and the ruler of all the kings of the world.

All glory to him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us. 6 He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.

So now John is going to start writing to the seven churches. He starts out by writing who this letter is actually from! It's not from him, it's from God the father, The Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ. Then he goes on to explain who Jesus is, and he starts praising him!

7 Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven.
And everyone will see him—
even those who pierced him.
And all the nations of the world
will mourn for him.
Yes! Amen!
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”

So, in the end when he comes EVERYONE will see him. Even those that don't and won't still believe in him will still see him, and they will know that he is God!

9 I, John, am your brother and your partner in suffering and in God’s Kingdom and in the patient endurance to which Jesus calls us. I was exiled to the island of Patmos for preaching the word of God and for my testimony about Jesus. 10 It was the Lord’s Day, and I was worshiping in the Spirit. Suddenly, I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet blast. 11 It said, “Write in a book everything you see, and send it to the seven churches in the cities of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”

So John was exiled for his belief in God, but that didn't stop him!

12 When I turned to see who was speaking to me, I saw seven gold lampstands. 13 And standing in the middle of the lampstands was someone like the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest. 14 His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were like flames of fire.

I think I'd be kinda excited, but kinda frightened at the same time if I saw someone like that.

15 His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves. 16 He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was like the sun in all its brilliance.

Now THAT would be scary!

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. But he laid his right hand on me and said, “Don’t be afraid! I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.

So Jesus beat death for us, and now he holds the key! All we have to do is accept him and he will lock that death door on us and welcome us into his kingdom. It also says he is the first and the last. He has always been and he will always be. That's all there is to it!

19 “Write down what you have seen—both the things that are now happening and the things that will happen. 20 This is the meaning of the mystery of the seven stars you saw in my right hand and the seven gold lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

So John wrote down everything that he saw. Throughout this book, God will show him many things. Some things that have happened, some things that are happening, and many things yet to come.

Establishing The Validity Of The Bible!

Last month I posted a poll (Which 6 people answered. common!! We can do better than that!). Out of those 6 people, 4 said that they believed the bible, 1 said they didn't, and 1 answered 'None of the Above.' Here's the deal.... the validity of the bible isn't that hard to establish (it's really the interpretation of the book that is hard).

First off, the bible's writers claim REPEATEDLY that the words they wrote came from the divine inspiration of God (which is completely infallible). There were around 40 men who wrote the book together, they all lived in different eras, they all claim to have gotten their inspiration from God, and all the books fit together!

For a writer to claim that he's gotten divine inspiration is HUGE all by itself, however, when you look at the facts above you can't deny it.... the bible is FACT!

Lets just assume for a moment that the bible isn't true. That would mean that those 40 men were either lying, insane, or both!


"But, on the other hand, if the greatest and most influential book of the ages, containing the most beautiful literature and the most perfect moral code ever devised, was written by deceiving fanatics, then what hope is there for ever finding meaning and purpose in this world?"

HUNDREDS of biblical prophecies have been fulfilled! In order for something to be a prophecy it has to be specific, and happen a long while AFTER the prophecy is given. There is a notion that all biblical prophecies were obvious..... things that anyone could have said. That simply isn't true! Many of the prophecies written in the bible were fulfilled long after the writer was dead.

"For example, Daniel the prophet predicted in about 538 BC (Daniel 9:24-27) that Christ would come as Israel's promised Savior and Prince 483 years after the Persian emperor would give the Jews authority to rebuild Jerusalem, which was then in ruins. This was clearly and definitely fulfilled, hundreds of years later."

The validity of the bible shouldn't be in dispute! It is a book of true FACTS! NOT fairy tails! Remember that!

CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS!

Amendment....
1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
2. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
3. No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
4. The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
5. No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
6. In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.
7. In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
8. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
9. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
10. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
11. The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State.
12. The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;
    The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;
    The person having the greatest Number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.
    The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.
13. Slavery
    
    1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
    2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
14. Citizenship Rights
    
    1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
    2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.
    3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
    4. The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.
    5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
15. Voting
    
    1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
    2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
16. The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.
17. The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.
    When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct.
    This amendment shall not be so construed as to affect the election or term of any Senator chosen before it becomes valid as part of the Constitution.
18. Liquor
    
    1. After one year from the ratification of this article the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors within, the importation thereof into, or the exportation thereof from the United States and all territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof for beverage purposes is hereby prohibited.
    2. The Congress and the several States shall have concurrent power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
    3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress.
19. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
    Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
20. Terms
    
    1. The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3rd day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.
    2. The Congress shall assemble at least once in every year, and such meeting shall begin at noon on the 3rd day of January, unless they shall by law appoint a different day.
    3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.
    4. The Congress may by law provide for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the House of Representatives may choose a President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them, and for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the Senate may choose a Vice President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them.
    5. Sections 1 and 2 shall take effect on the 15th day of October following the ratification of this article.
    6. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission.
21. 18th Amendment Repealed
    
    1. The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.
    2. The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited.
    3. The article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by conventions in the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress.
22. Presidential Limits
    
    1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President, when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.
    2. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.
23. Presidential Vote for the District of Columbia
    
    1. The District constituting the seat of Government of the United States shall appoint in such manner as the Congress may direct: A number of electors of President and Vice President equal to the whole number of Senators and Representatives in Congress to which the District would be entitled if it were a State, but in no event more than the least populous State; they shall be in addition to those appointed by the States, but they shall be considered, for the purposes of the election of President and Vice President, to be electors appointed by a State; and they shall meet in the District and perform such duties as provided by the twelfth article of amendment.
    2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
24. Poll Tax Barred
    
    1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay any poll tax or other tax.
    2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
25. Presidential Disability and Succession
    
    1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.
    2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.
    3. Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, and until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such powers and duties shall be discharged by the Vice President as Acting President.
    4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
    Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.
26. Voting age set
    
    1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.
    2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
27. No law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.

Amendments 1 and 2 are the only ones, that I can think of, which are (or soon will be) under attack in this country. The right to bare arms is a crucial right in this country and the minute it gets taken away is the minute all of our rights start getting taken away.... until we start living in a communist country!

The first amendment has also been under attack, beginning when they took prayer out of schools. People are being let go from their jobs because they even mention intelligent design!

These are the two amendments that congress (and president Obama) seem to be forgetting! DON'T LET THEM FORGET!

Driverless Cars (Yes, they do exist!)

Do you know that Google has built driverless cars?  They are still in the testing stage and their are a few bugs to work out, but they work!




There are a few states, namely California, which are starting to adopt laws to govern the driverless car (even though the car won't be on the market for a while).  California's law makes google's autonomous car legal for testing purposes only, while there are 2 other states (Navada and Florida) which are starting to put laws through to govern the cars when they actually get released!





There have only been TWO accidents involving the driverless cars! None of which happened while the CAR was actually driving! One incident happened when the car was being driven manually, and another involved the car being rear-ended while stopped at a traffic light!

The people at google are hopeful that they will solve all the problems of the car in the next 5 years, and they are saying that the car should be released by the year 2015.

God Has A Plan

I am writing this post to remind everyone that God has a plan for their life. No matter how tough thing get, you can always count on God to have the answer.

Jeremiah 29:11 states "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Everything falls into Gods plan, even if something happens to us that doesn't seem good at the time, or if we fail that math test, or if we lose that job, or if we're taken to the hospital with two broken ribs. God has a plan. Remember that!

ABORTION!!! Lets take a look at it....

First of all let me say that there is not a baby that has EVER been born by accident!! This is regardless of our expectations!! This is all about God!

Jeremiah 1:5 states "I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations."

God decides when a new baby is going to be born, NOT us!! We can try to have babies, but ultimately it is God that decides if that sperm is going to reach the egg and whether or not that women is going to conceive!!

Even if a women becomes pregnant as the result of rape, it is still not ok to murder a baby! Two wrongs don't make a right, you can't simply kill a baby, even as a reaction to something as tragic as rape!

When you have an abortion, you are going against God's plan. God has a plan, both for you, and for that child. However, lets be honest.... more abortions happen for the sake of convenience than anything else. If you don't want a baby, BE MORE RESPONSIBLE! Shame on you! You can't simply throw away a life like it's some kind of old love letter from an ex-boy/girlfriend!

That doesn't mean that if you've had an abortion that you are beyond help, though!

Romans 8:1 says "So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus."

If you put your faith in him, he will set you free!

Gun Control!! Good? or Bad?

BAD!!!! Gun control laws take guns out of the hands of honest, law-abiding citizens and puts them ONLY in the hands of the gangsters and criminals!!! Think about it for a minute!

If you don't have it by now then I will just tell you! CRIMINALS and by criminals I really mean CRIMINALS!!!! Don't obey the law ANYWAY!!



If you take away the guns of everyone else, then you will just be making it easier for them!



Not to mention that our RIGHT to keep and bear arms is found in our constitution!!



Gun control is going to do several BAD things in our country!

1. Open the door for tyranny!
2. Give criminals free reign and sole ownership of our guns
3. Create another black market where criminals will buy and trade our guns behind the back of our government
4. Weaken this country

Hitler and Stalin both had, at least, one thing in common! Gun Control! Take away our guns and you take away our freedom!! I will NOT stand for that!!

We must also protect ourselves from other countries!! If you get rid of too many guns it will open the doors for another country to come in and invade us!

Kroger Deli Fried Chicken!!

The following is my honest opinion. I am a bzzagent, which means I get products and services for FREE and then I share my opinions with you! This time I got some Kroger Fried Chicken!



Fried chicken from the deli of any Kroger store is amazing! It is cooked to just the right temperature and seasoned to perfection! I usually have to season chicken a lot when I get it, but chicken from a Kroger deli doesn't require any extra seasonings.

Aside from the occasional piece that might taste a little dry, Kroger's chicken is the best there is! I would recommend you get yourself down to your nearest Kroger store and try a piece right away! You won't be disappointed!
