God Has A Plan

I am writing this post to remind everyone that God has a plan for their life. No matter how tough thing get, you can always count on God to have the answer.

Jeremiah 29:11 states "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Everything falls into Gods plan, even if something happens to us that doesn't seem good at the time, or if we fail that math test, or if we lose that job, or if we're taken to the hospital with two broken ribs. God has a plan. Remember that!

What are people doing over there???

Warning: Below post will present a conflict of interest (it's just my opinion)

There is something that really gets under my skin!! There are so many poor people in America, starving and cold, and Americans just want to leave them high and dry to help poor people in another country!!

This is one of the reasons this country is suffering! This nations poverty rate is at 15% and rising, 1 out of every 6 children wonder where there next meal is coming from.

AND NO ONE CARES!!!!

At least those people who chart themselves off to some other country because they're like "oh, look at all the poor helpless people over there." WHAT ABOUT THE POOR HELPLESS PEOPLE OVER HERE!!! We should be taking care of our own country before we start sending people off to help other countries! If all the good people leave, who will be left to help?

God is a GUY, live with it!!

Since I have heard that some people think God is a women. I decided to write this to assure everyone that he is, in fact, a guy. Let us start with...

Mark 15:32:

"'Let the Christ, the KING of Israel, come down now from the cross that we may see and believe...'"

The people who were looking strait at Jesus while he hung on the cross were referring to him as the KING of Israel. That should tell you something.

John 3:16 says:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only SON, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Can you already see a pattern here?? God sent his SON, not his Daughter (or Wife). His Son!!! I am mostly talking about when Jesus was here on earth because since God is a spiritual being in heaven, he has no physical attributes that would serve to classify him as a man. However, since God made Adam before Eve and he made him "in the image of [himself]." before deciding that Adam needed a companion I would say that God would consider himself a man in many other ways.

Also, God made men head of their households. Just like God is head of the world. The bible also uses male tenses all the way through when talking about God which means that either the people writing the books considered God a man or God himself (who inspired these men to write the books of the bible). Considered himself a man.

There is no disputing that when Jesus was on earth he was a man. However, in the physical sense, when God is in heaven he is neither male nor female. I would dispute, though, that God would more consider himself a man than a women.

Only Evolution in Schools?

The fact that we are now only allowed to be taught and teach evolution in our public schools is unconstitutional. There is no "Separation of Church and State," there is only the first amendment that states:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

Wouldn't that mean that congress has no right to make a law (or anything else for that matter) that prevents creation from being taught in schools? That's what the founding fathers wanted it to mean!

That bears the question: What are they afraid of?

Do they think that if people are given a choice between creation and evolution that they will see creation as the most logical choice? Of course they do! Because it is the most logical!

They are so afraid that creation (or intelligent design) is true (and they don't want it to be true because then they will have to bow to a higher power) that they have banned it from being taught.

Star Wars Game!!!!!!!

Today wasn't anything exciting. Yesterday I helped out in kids church for both first and second hour. Been playing heroes a lot, Just started another game today. I generated a small map with 2 players including me (One computer player). I've also been watching Star Wars: The Old Republic and it looks like it's going to come out soon (hopefully I have a job when it does so I can keep playing the game) but even if I'm not I've almost saved up enough money to pre-order the game which will give me early access plus one month free. That game will be THE BEST GAME EVER MADE.

OUR FRIENDS HAVE LEFT

Today is the day our friends from Washington left. We will see them again some day though so it's not too bad. Right now I am waiting for my next class here at the college like I do every Tuesday and Thursday at this time. My mom had to go to work today (she works at our church as the children's director and during the school year she works teaching music to preschool) so our friends brought me to the college with their van before they left. There's nothing else to report that I can think of right now.

OVER and OUT

Sunday

Sunday was GREAT!! First of all I went to church and helped out with some kids in what we call "Second Hour" Sunday school classes. My church does things opposite than most churches, we do the BIG sermon first and then we do Sunday school after. So, during Sunday school I went and helped with some preschoolers. Then we went home and started playing TWO games at the same time (A computer game called Heroes 5 and monopoly on the Wii). It was intense (and fun).

Did Work, Nothing Else

Today I did some work around the house, including:

• Spraying down weeds


• Sweeping

The rest of the day was pretty boring. There is not much going on until the forth of July and even then I don't know what’s going to happen. We are trying to get some friends to come for the forth of July and they may or may not make it. Even if they don't I think we should invite someone else to do it with us (Maybe someone from church).

Classes, Work, and Wishes

I am about to go to the 4th Experimental Media class session I've had this term. I sort of like this class but at the same time it can be intimidating and hard. I am not really an artist in this way and it just isn't really where my interests are. I really don't know what I'm going to do now that the BEST 3 DAYS OF THE YEAR are over (VBS). I wish I could work with kids more than I do. I did some yard work for someone today, not my favorite but I did get $50 for it. At least I got money, would be MUCH happier if I could work with kids though. That seems to be the only thing I can do without getting too tired of it and it is my FAVORITE thing to do.

My Life (VBS and College)

Today went great at VBS. Like I said before I love the kids so I don't know how much can go wrong with that. I did all of the "Techy" stuff at VBS again as well as work with the kids. I am now at the College (My "Community College" or "Junior College" as some might call it). I am taking two classes during this summer term. I am taking an art class called "Experimental Media" and a Pre-college Level reading class called Reading 90. I've never really been good at reading comprehension which has always brought me down in the high school English classes but I'm a good writer. College is VERY good if you want to go on with life and make a lot of money. Some day I will be a game designer, a computer programmer, a computer animator, or something dealing with computers in the gaming area (I haven't yet decided).

VBS (2011)

I like VBS (Vacation Bible School). I am volunteering there for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week. I LOVE working with the kids. I work with the 3rd and 4th graders as well as doing the sound board and the "Easy Worship" program for the opening and closing assemblies. I also am (this year) running a PowerPoint presentation of pictures everyday while my mom (who is also working VBS) talks about them and the mission project that we are doing. We are raising money to help a man in Romania with his roof. This years VBS theme is the Homestead Gold Rush.

VBS (Maybe a little late but oh well)

VBS was fun, I like it very much, even more than AWANA. I went Rafting twice (once with the 3rd and 4th graders and then with the 1st and 2nd graders). Then I went hiking (with the 3rd and 4th graders)

Today is AWANAs!!!!!! I have a feeling that it will be great, I will let you all know how it goes

I am back

I just got back from my friends house and I have a video that I will put up in a little bit with my mom and her friend in church singing a song (My mom is playing the flute) just wait and see.
