The Lottery

What is the point of the Lottery?? The odds of winning the record lottery was estimated at 1 in 176,000,000. Since there are 313,478,700 people in the united states. Only about 2 people in THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES would win (and it was about that many who did). My guess is that NONE OF YOU reading this right now will win in your life times!!

Every once and awhile someone might get EXTREMELY LUCKY and actually pick the winning numbers, but most people are just throwing their money in the beasts mouth hoping that it'll spit up at them (speaking metaphorically of course). Some people might even go into debt in the hopes that some day they sill "strike it lucky." It's not very smart to keep spending money on this "game of PURE chance."

When the beast spits up, it'll spit up your money along with everyone else's! However, the money might not land on you! Think about it. When you play the lottery you are effectively giving money to someone else.
